I blame the refs and all the non calls

This game was definitely not on the refs! Defense was atrocious.

Whoever chose Tom Allen or the Officials wins this thread...

defense played bad, but to say it definitely wasn't on the refs is inaccurate

Unless the umpire was supposed to be covering a couple of those wide open reicevers our secondary never saw

If their QB could hit wide open receivers early in the game it would not have even been close.

I will also say that I'm happy with the improvement of the defense this season, but all those claiming Allen was the reason for the turn around are ridiculous.

He was a major part of it. Did you see how the defense played this year?

No, I just don't expect a team to get a touchdown when they fumble a ball into the endzone or get a touchdown when the players foot was dragging out of bounds. I also expect flags to be thrown when a wr is being interfered with or when a player is hit head first, even when he isn't near the ball....but that's just me. Did we lose because of it, no, but did they certainly play a factor. You better believe it.

Someone on an auburn board is saying he'll be announced this week...don't know how reliable, just passing it on

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22
