That's how many they bring in down years .... in up years they bring 35K.

Can't tell if you are serious... they didn't bring 25k to Orlando!

This coming off 9 wins in three seasons, not surprised with the numbers. I'd expect a turnaround starting next season and we'll be back on the upswing.

I think this goes up a lot next year with FSU and actual winning and excitement vs. a bottomless pit of sorrow.

On some what related news:

Ratings for USF/UCF a whooping 388k

The surprise for me was Army/Navy 7.1M

http://www.sportsmediawatch.com/college-football-tv-ratings/

Army v Navy was the only game on all day. Usf v ucif was on same time bears/packers was on. Our game was over early and my family was whining about throwing the NFL game on due to us rolling them.

I think you can say moving the game to Thanksgiving was not the ratings success ESPN had hoped for. Hopefully the UCF home game next year is not back on Thanksgiving.

Maybe it was because of the chain link fence constantly in the background and poorly lit dinge of the stadium. Looks like a high school game at a glance.

I did like some of the signs their fans had, and the dancing chick

'could be that the Thanksgiving night game was an experiment and next year it will rotate between two other AAC teams instead of U(S,C)F...given that it did fill a three-hour schedule for ESPN, while there was pro football the same day. As for the dancin' chick, that tells you a lot about the game when SHE gets that much air time. I did like it though. Maybe the isolated dancin' chick  ( who apparently is on the UCF dance team) could be part of the ESPN Thanksgiving Night College Football Extravaganza going forward. Could happen.

1.3 M watched Texas/ Texas Tech on FS1 at the same time.

I just thought being on ESPN the number would be in the 1M range. IMO it was a horrible number

Both Texas and Texas teach have actually won games though. Who wants to watch an 0-11 UCF team? I was having a hard time keeping that game on in my own house on Thanksgiving. Ucf sucks. Its true.
