Just ended up putting his last name opposite the hideous logo.

It is a newer bourbon from Heaven Hill distilleries. Got my first bottle a year or two ago while visiting the trail, had not seen it distributed in Florida until yesterday. I enjoyed it quite a bit, and a fellow bourbon lover liked it better than several higher priced bourbons. Total Wine has it around $28, but I saw it at Walmart liquor store for $22. At that price it is a real bargain. On 10/16/2016 at 10:24 AM, Who'sYourData? said: I just saw I had posted about Larceny previously. I guess I like it. Found some of this at my local package store today. A neighbor friend helped me out with an installation of something at my home so I paid him in bourbon. Bought him a Four Roses Single Barrel, but decided to get Larceny for me, since it was only $22. I like it! Nice recommendation, Data! They had some bigger bottles of it for $40 ish too. I got the smaller one since my bourbon drinking is few and far between compared to my craft beer drinking.

I'm glad you like it! I rarely buy the bigger bottles unless I plan to have people over and use it to make slushies or some mixed drink. When I do that I tend to go for one of the lower priced bourbons. Rebel Yell works really well, uneless I like the people then I might go for something like Larceny. Recently acquired a bottle ... do people like it neat? On rocks? Or is it mainly a bourbon for mixing? Words that come to mind at the mention of Jim Beam White are paint thinner. I learned that it is now this: https://www.thespiritsbusiness.com/2016/10/heaven-hill-redesigns-elijah-craig-small-batch/ A blend of 8 and 12 year barrels. Still quite good, but a step down from what it once was.
