This. One of the biggest things I've been impressed with this season with this turn around from players and the coaching staff is how they continue to come out ready every week. After the FSU "hangover" when we laid an egg against Maryland, this team has really done a great job of not letting the previous success or failure (Navy) carry over to the next game. They have come out ready and have done what was needed week in and week out to finish out the season and I expect they will be ready to execute for this bowl game too. Taggart and company will have them ready to play their asses off!

I think WKU will certainly move the ball, but I think the end zone defense will be tougher than they are expecting. When combined with our running game draining the clock, they'll have to make good use of offensive drives. If the punter sees the field more than a couple of times in the first half for WKU, then they're in trouble.

Doughty looks pretty lethal in the 10-20 yard range esp when not on the run--good head game. Not terribly impressed with their O-line though. If we get the pressure on him and force him to panic a bit on the run, our D is gonna have fun and we might get a pick or two. I think we'll be just fine if we can keep them from eating up too many yards across the center, that looks to be their bread & butter.

"We have to honor everything they do. We have to make sure we play our game and handle what we can on our side on defense. Offensively, we have to score as many points as possible and do what we do best. It's going to be a big challenge and I feel like we're up for it."
