We have to bring pressure!Does anybody know how the team is doing since the Gnat beat down? --Are they in rest mode or kick-ass mode? Also convert short 3rd downs. Leave the ball in Flowers hands and let him make a play.Defense: Get pressure on the quarterback, angry Byrd has to be on his top game when rushing the passer. Limit deep plays downfield, let them run it and pass it short, just no explosive plays.Special teams: Make field goals, punting had always been solid and kickoffs won't change. But they're all in legalese. As for keys to the game, we need to get the WKU offense into 2nd and 3rd and long regularly, tackle extremely well, and get pressure on Doughty. He's not a guy that turns the ball over much. We will also need to run the ball well and grind the Toppers down throughout the game with the run game. Do that and they will tire out when we go to our deep patterns with Adams and Bronson. One guy to watch out for is their 6'6 TE Tyler Higbee. He averages 62 yards per game and missed four games with an injury. Given how undersized we are, a big TE is going to be a pain to deal with. I wish Lamar Robbins hadn't been an idiot, he would have matched up well with his size. Most of their WR are between 5'9 and 6*1 with one who's 6*3. On O, again, our line will be a key and I think we're good there. If they push 'em around, Mack & Flowers will have a field day.
