We started out very slow down 9-2 early but woke up and took control. We really beat them in the 2nd quarter and put it away at the end of the 3rd

I told yal the women's team would be just fine. The last team we lost to, St. John's is receiving numerous votes for the Top 25 and are on the cusp of making it in.  They are a much better team than they were believed to be when we lost. They'll be Top 20 with us in no time.

That was a good win yesterday for the ladies. UTC is a good team and just got throttled by us - Tennessee was lucky to survive UTC again this season. If USF plays perfect and UConn has their worst game, we can beat them. If the women play close to their ceiling (meaning Courtney is firing on all cylinders), they are a top five team in the country. UConn has multiple Courtney's on their team plus the best coach in women's basketball. Coach F. is a great coach... but Geno is women's hoops. Our hope is not to be on the same side of the bracket with UConn going into the tourney. Eventually you have to beat the best to be the best, but if you can duck them early on, it gives the girls more faith in themselves that they really can beat them by making a long run in the tourney.
