I know it's about the money. But how can you be on the recruiting trail and then go to a job interview?

And then come back to the same recruits and fans when you don't get the job.  He put us in a predicament for sure.  Just kinda sucks all around, no matter the outcome.

Just feels like a punch on the gut.  Can't blame him, can you.  Harlan, the fan base, local media, lots of folks wanted him out a couple of months ago.

this. If you have an opportunity at SCAR, you wouldnt take it? Really? At least interview?

I have no problem welcoming back if he either doesnt get the job or turns it down. Havent you guys ever interviewed somewhere you knew you would turn down if they offered? Either to see what it is like or to create networking opportunities? Better to leave on your own terms than get axed. Take the job at SCAR while you have the chance. We could go 2-10 the next two years, he gets the boot, and that door, along with many others are closed for a long time, if not forever.

You guys are making an SEC job seem impossible to get...

Derek Dooley got hired at Tenessee after going 4-8 at LA Tech and its not like McElwain did anything remarkable at CSU before UF.

No hard feelings for chasing career advancement. Especially when Butch Davis is still available ;)

Yes.  I think that was Harlan's plan one way or the other.

South Carolina interviewed Muschamp as well...don't see them hiring a relative no name like Taggart.

+1. Nobody begrudged Leavitt for interviewing with Bama.
