Miami just got a excellent coach. I think he could bring them back to be competitive in the ACC.

I agree, Richt is a great head coach and Miami lucked into a great situation. In a couple of years, I think they'll be in contention for the conference title every year (Coastal is the easiest division in P5).

He has recruited Tampa very well also. Hope he just wants to retire and soak up the sun.

You really think Richt wants a guy that got arrested on a recruiting visit for theft at UGA?

Georgia was dumb to let him go.   His winning percentage was way above the average.

I think Miami fell into the perfect hire for them. Miami guy, great coach, high integrity guy. Perfect situation for both sides.

Especially replacing a guy like that with a first time HC. Miami literally struck gold. I read that Jacob Eason (#1 QB on Rivals) could potentially follow Richt there as well.
