St. Pete bowl is what most people think... I do hope we play WKU in that game.

I don't want Miami because that's the one game I won't be able to go to or even watch on TV because it's a Monday before Christmas when most people have jobs to do.  What imbecile decided to make a bowl at 2:30 in the afternoon on a weekday?

I also wish we'd get a p5 opponent.  Only other G5 team I can see is being competitive would probably be Western Kentucky

Joey Knight has been tweeting that USF wants to actually travel to a bowl game... so he is saying that the Miami Beach bowl is the leading contender at this point.

Bowls also want teams AND fans to travel, spend time in hotels and eat out.

USF fans won't be doing a lot of that for the Miami Beach bowl... that will be a down-and-back-on-the-same-day for a lot of them.

If they want players and fans to travel, Birmingham is the best option.  USF fans are not likely to stay overnight in the Miami area for an afternoon game.

They probably want Miami for recruiting purposes.  I would rather the CURE vs California.  A close game and a P5 we will smoke.

I'm good with Miami. Can use the same hotel stayed at for the UK beatdown and actually saw how to get to the stadium so horrendous traffic down there will be a little minimized ...

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
