If Taggart somehow wins a conference championship this year - Miami.... MAY... Just may be interested

 

 

But Miami has MONEY -- they can grab any coach they need

Highly doubt he goes to this since he just got done with a rebuild.

Miami is not a rebuild. They are vey talented. 8-4 is not a rebuild.

Miami will go after butch jones, les miles if he leaves lsu, or some big name coach. They will not go after any of our coaches.

Then they'd be better off picking up Les Miles, Butch Davis, Mario Cristobal, Randy Shannon, and Kirby Smart to fill in HC and all other roles on the coaching staff...

Eh. I don't think many schools would come knocking for Taggart just yet. We certainly look improved now, but I feel like they'd wait until after next season. If we go like 10-2+ regular season, especially if we upset FSU, I'd fully expect offers to come pouring in for the man. Rightfully so, he'd deserve them.

I hope we can keep the entire staff.  LSU is going to stupidly let Les Miles go, and I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up at Texas.  That would let Strong go to Miami.

there is a rumor that Randy Shannon is getting a look from UCF for their HC position. Would get great recruits for UCF

Without the Duke win it was 7-5 and they have been hovering with mediocre for years so for Miami it is a rebuild. They have no identity and dont do anything particularly well right now. The high expectations at Miami will be 10 win years and Taggart just got in the safe zone.  If I remember correctly he was courted by Wisconsin so I think there is something to be said about him wanting to be home.   Now if he leaves he left a good blue print and I would not mind Allen with Hope and Kinnan.
