Champs of the east with Ws against everyone. Come on uconn. You owe us after the 57 yarder from a few yrs ago. Win and I like our chances in the AAC.  Either way, gotta love the heart and execution of this team. Go Bulls

Will be very interesting to hear Aresco's thoughts on this. Should we NOT represent our division after going 5-0 in it? Should we be punished for getting a bad draw this season in playing Navy and Memphis from the other division? I don't know the answer.

That's the chance you take with cross divisional games.  If we took care of just one of Navy or Memphis, we wouldn't be sitting in this position right now.

Right. And perhaps that's just the reminder we need that we have stuff to polish off still. And that's a good thing.

Alternatively, we drew top-15 Navy and they drew Tulane.

USF is the best in the EAST.

We need to carry that momentum into the next game we play (Whether conference champion OR Bowl Game)

We also had a bit of bad luck with timing of Memphis. This was a completely different team the last 2/3 of the year.  Taggart also trusted and coached the team differently.

It is what it is.  All we can do is root for UCONN and go from there.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
