He can take as much as he wants getting paid 4,000 plus a week as a scout player or higher on the roster

Since he is on the Active Roster, he has to be paid the league minimum for a 3 yr vet, $660,000

That's great, and I think if he can stay for a 4th year somewhere he will be able to get an NFL pension, but I could be wrong on that.

Last year he signed a two year contract at regular pay even if on the practice squad (some NFL rule required Seattle to do that) so even when he is on the practice squad he is getting paid at league minimum. Some team (I don't remember who) tried to sign him off the practice squad and that was the only way that Seattle could protect him.
