May be a few more that happen after the season ends. Figure about half will involve schools hiring sitting head coaches so we're talking about 20 HC changes at a minimum.Current Openings: USC; Miami; Virginia Tech; South Carolina; Missouri; Maryland; UCF; Illinois; Syracuse; Iowa State; North Texas; Hawaii; Louisian-MonroePotential openings due to coach being fired: Virginia; Purdue; Rutgers; Georgia; LSU

Big markets, in Florida, large enrollments, schools committed to athletics. A dumpster fire they are, but they are also recent BCS bowl level and conference champs. We are up, they are down (way down). Of course, either school is a desirable job for a coach that wants to get to the power five...there in lays the problem. I think he's going to Kansas State or staying on at Colorado I am a Leavitt fan and can tell you first-hand, he is a complete control freak. The man will pretty much take the first FBS head coaching job that offers him unless he's generating interest from multiple schools. UCF or whatever else, he wants control of his own program. I wouldn't want him coaching in the American.

Not saying it is probable but if given the 2..
