He's thinking that white would contrast better.  Also, USF is doing a, "Good guys wear white" slogan for this game.

attire will not change the outcome of the game, and silver is too classy for them. I think doublewide aluminum is more their color.

Yes, this and Bulls are going all white head to toe.  Our green might look black on TV.
