Why are we light on commits?

I agree. I think that we've still got a shot with KJ Sails and Craig Watts. Watts has been showing us alot of love on Twitter, even though he is committed to Colorado.

Expect a big recruiting push starting this weekend if we can get a win Vs Cincinnati. It was hard for the staff to recruit with the uncertainty over the program the first part of season. With us turning things around and a the perception of a more stable environment look for kids who have been in a wait and see mode start to take official visits and commit. Also, in January UF and FSU will start to really fill up and cut some talented kids loose if they land elite studs at the same position. Expect us to make a strong push for those kind of kids. Also, as mentioned a few posts back some of the kids committed to schools thousands of miles away will inevitably get cold feet and look at options closer to home. If we can win these next two games we could end up with CWT's best class yet and be in a very favorable position in the spring to have an even stronger class the following year if we're successful. Recruiting benefits from good seasons tend to lag a year behind the good seasons.

Like mentioned above, as of a couple weeks ago, we were in limbo. I think the reason for the low commits is that the staff is targeting higher-caliber players that would not have committed if we still had a losing record. Should see more action soon, especially if we can pull off a couple more Ws.

I think it will be interesting. We win out, Memphis helps with Temple, we play in Houston on the 5th, and THEN the coaches can hit the recruiting trail...

Memphis AND UConn have to help with Temple.

No as long as we win out if Memphis beats Temple we'd be in first due to the tiebreaker going to the winner, USF

My theory is that the coaches are busy coaching this year.
