This weekend should tell us a lot about where we are going and where we can go.  Go Bulls and Go Tigers...

What did last weekend tell us?

greatest Bull team ever? they could win out and I still would not put this team above 2002, 2007 or 2008 teams. And it would be a stretch to put them over the 2005 or 2006 teams. It isn't just the total wins that matter-- it is who they are playing and how well they are playing. 2002 should have been our first bowl season-- that was an amazing and complete team effort. I would equate this team with maybe the 2005 team--- on the verge of becoming special. Still a lot of work to become truly a great team though.

2007 and 2008 both went 4-3 in the Big East

Maybe 2002..... In 2007 We went 4-3 in The Big East, In 2008 we went 2-5 in the Big East.

Those 07-08 Teams fell apart when it mattered most.

If we win out (HUGE if) making us Conference Champs and possible Peach Bowl Winners, I would say there is no doubt that is the most successful season. The goal is always to win your Conference and we have never been able to do that.

Lots of ways to look at it. Based on competition played 2002 team went 9-2 as an independent.

2003 5 wins in conference USA. Best conference record ever.

2007 rose to #2.

This year they still have a chance for best conference record ever.

Not sure I would put them as one of best ever yet, but certainly, record wise, they would be up there.

What did last weekend tell us?

Told us we have turned the corner and are a bowl team, was more referring to the OP and if we can get to the American championship game.
