I don't know if the philosophy of the system is that much different, but the execution of the system has improved dramatically. Add to that the new found confidence of CWT to let the players make the plays, because they execute them properly, and it seems to be new.

Actually scoring is a new system compared to last year.

More consistency from the other receivers...they need to step up.

And more consistency from QF on the long ball to go along with that. You can't hit em all but hitting 50% would be killer.

Love it when they hurry up & do several plays without looking to the sideline.  It catches the opponent's defense off guard.  I even saw better clock management at the end of the game.

Yeah, that puts a ton of pressure on the D.  Good point.

What's still missing and how do you see it getting perfected?

A way to tear up the Navy defense. I don't know that our O would ever be as disciplined as that Navy D, but gotta...catch...balls to beat those guys.

To beat Navy you cant drop balls and can't get stupid penalties.

I would like to see a rematch with Navy because we didn't play our best game and Mack and Flowers were beat up prior to game.

I completely agree.  Ryshene Bronson and Chris Barr have not really done much in the passing game.  I'd like to see them work harder to get open more often...

"Flowers’ best escape this season to Taggart came against Temple, but the QB did it with his mind, not his wheels. Flowers noticed something in the defense where the play would’ve run right into the teeth of an Owls run blitz. Instead, he checked to a different running play, a zone read to the left (the pressure was coming from the right) and tailback Marlon Mack broke free for a 57-yard touchdown run."

That is very intersting.
