Have plans to be at Legoland on the 19th. I've got no problem cutting that day short to head to Orlando for the rest of the night :icon_drink:

I hope next year the AAC has a better bowl lineup.. This sucks. But I guess the positive take away from this is I suspect the AAC will win 6 out of the 7 games. Our big 4 in Navy, Houston, Memphis and Temple will all get under matched, (with the exception of the new years 6 bowl) and probably win their games. Which leaves the other 3 games to USF, Cincy, (who are both very talented and getting the weaker games so they should win) and Tulsa (who btw is 3-0 this year against the group of 5). This is the AAC's year and bowl lineup to prove that we are closer to power status than the group of 5 status.

Btw UConn is 1 win away from bowl eligibility at 5-5, but have games vs Houston and Temple, so I am not expecting them to win again. Tulsa meanwhile, has games vs Navy and Tulane. East Carolina probably has better odds at making it than UConn, even at 4-6 due to their remaining games vs UCF, and Cincy.

Unless we win the conference I really do see us headed to the Beach Bowl or St. Pete. I'd prefer St. pete just from a vacation standpoint (it's much easier for my vacation scheduling), but if I can get ahead of my work schedule than I can probably make Miami work-I'll just be hightailing it out of Miami as soon as the game's over.

Birmingham Bowl, please.  Best option for opponent and date, not to mention the proximity to me.  :D

Yes, next year we have a better lineup.  Next year is the year we want to go to St Pete if not in the Peach or Cotton.  Here's the lineup for next year:

Peach, Cotton, or Fiesta (If highest ranked Conf. champ.)

Birmingham Bowl
Birmingham, Ala. – vs. SEC

St. Petersburg Bowl
St. Petersburg, Fla. – vs. ACC

Miami Beach Bowl
Miami, Fla. – vs. MAC

Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman
Annapolis, Md. – vs. ACC

Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl
Fort Worth, Texas – vs. Big 12

Bahamas Bowl
Nassau Bahamas – vs. MAC

Marmot Boca Raton Bowl
Boca Raton, Fla. – vs. Conference USA

AutoNation Cure Bowl
Orlando, Fla. – vs. Sun Belt

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
