The student section only holds so many seats. What happens when those seats are full? Do they sit those students in the regular section or they'd have to pay for a regular seat?

If we fill the allotted 15k plus student seats, they open the 300's

It's what they did in the past anyway

The student section is only 8000... and that is all of the tickets available.  After that, students have to buy tickets.

For what it's worth, there were about 4000 students there last night.

When they closed the upper deck... (Got my info from an athletics employee 'because I mentioned the absence of Greek organizations.)

Your link is REALLY out of date.... "January 02, 2009 "

sorry man, unless you can show me an updated policy, I'm sticking with this as my final answer.  The age of the link is irrelevant if it's an established policy date.  Adjustments due to poor attendance I can understand, but no change to the overall policy has been made official from what I see.

If you want to go by "official" news, just look at the official seating charts, plus the fact that USF announced that the 300 level is closed.

The student section lost sections: 342,343,344 as well as 205, 206, and 241

2010 (same as 2009 but 2009's chart is reversed, with N pointing left, so this one provides a clearer comparison)

If you want to see one example of how bad season tickets had/have been, look how much they expanded the visitor section, from just 132 to now 126 - 132 and 226 - 229 (which used to be the family sections).

Dude... the policy says students can get a 300 level ticket.

So yeah... the policy has changed.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
