we lose thor, Big Mack, and Brynar... Hall is really really good and the center will likely be Ruff.  Next years line has the potential to be a lot better than this seasons.  As far as Byrd.. Hudson will be eligible and he is a big time hitter and stud safety (he transferred in from Wisconsin And is sitting out this season using his redshirt, because he was playing a lot as a true frosh there)... We have a lot waiting.. Next years team is going to be a lot more talented believe it or not.

i agree the talent will be there. As you say, maybe an upgrade in talent. Just a matter of how quickly the learn to play together and gel. That is key on the OL.  

With Cherry coming in as well as some of the recent recruits over the last couple of years plus the second year in the 4-2-5 system, the defense has a chance to get to a very high level and stay there for a few seasons at least. Hopefully, for a long time. 

 

I also like the depth forming on both sides of ball. Lack of depth was a weakness during Leavitt's years.

i agree... I think it will be easier for guys coming in and I also want to see Gonzales, Senat, Hector, Bronson, and Calloway next season (yes.. Ive been hearing they fully expect him back)... The interior of our line is going to be crazy.  Also we are still recruiting so we should be fine for a while.. Because Taggart can jndeed recruit.
