So basically if USF wins next three games they should be in with some help. Crazier things have happened!! Would love to see USF play against an undefeated Houston team for the AAC title.

Highly doubtful. There are four teams in the AAC with much better records than us with just two weeks to go. Even Cincy has the same record as us.

Irrelevant.  If USF wins AAC they'd be compared against the other conference champions, not the other 4 AAC teams.

As of now, USF would be compared against:

WKU (8-2) or Marshall (9-2)

Toledo (9-1) or Bowling Green (8-2)

Air Force (7-3) or San Diego State (7-3) (Boise has one more conf. loss than AFA.

Arkansas State (7-3)  If Ark St. loses then possibly Ga Southern or App St.

Looking at the above, if we win out, we'd have a chance.

It may be a Peach Bowl invite against UF.

I am not a venegeful guy and I know Skippy bag of donuts was overwhelmed here...but I got to admit whooping him in a bowl game would really be a statement that THIS is a NEW BULLS ERA!

Beating La Tech would mean that much to you?  Really?  I don't care who the coach is, I don't think us beating La Tech would be any sort of statement.

The door was finally shut  on the "Skippy era" last night ... No need to tempt fate.

And the Leavitt era too, in conference play used to be crash and burn time.

Looking at who we'd be compared against, I'm thinking more and more that we'd have a decent shot at Peach Bowl.

We would have won 8 of 9.  Committee will like that.

Would have beat a top 25 Temple, and probably a 10 Houston.

Would have Beat Cincinnati (who defeated Miami)

Would have defeated one so called power 5 opponent (Syracuse)

3 of 4 losses would have been to top 25 teams.
