Another thing that has worked out great for the AAC is the timing of some of their games.  For example, Houston plays UConn and Navy plays Tulsa this weekend.  Both have a great shot to beat their opponents, and then #20 Navy goes to #24 Houston in the last week of the season.

It kind of sucks that they'll basically cannibalize each other, ranking-wise, but honestly, the AAC couldn't really have scripted that any better.

To go 9-4, we would have to be conference champs, with 5 straight victories and two top 25 wins.  That should be enough to get to the low twenties

it is all about how you finish

Unless you are not including the bowl game we have three games left and potentially four. If we win those three games we are 9-4. If we win the conference we are 10-4

0 chance we are ranked this year with 4 losses out of the AAC. Memphis isn't even ranked with 2 losses to the #13/14 team and #19 team and the win over Ole Miss. Also we wouldn't jump from receiving votes to ranked based on beating a winless UCF.

When you say it that way it really bothers me......I would think Memphis should be a top 25 team.  I wonder what the committee comes up with on Tues because they are the ones that count.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
