I called for him to be fired at end of last year.

I was wrong.

Willie has proven that he has what it takes to be a solid coach, a great recruiter, and I expect him to be at USF for a long time.

Thank you Coach T for turning this program around.

Just like at WKU, it took him three years to get it going here

He had already proved this at WKU, as soon as he made the choice to change the offense I was sold. All everyone needed to do was watch Manatee High School against First Coast in the 7A title game. Then look at our roster and how the team was made up and you should've smiled. I'm just glad things worked out!

I started doubting him after the Maryland game, but boy the turn around since then. I was solidly back on board after the Memphis game.

I too had one foot out the door on him earlier but he has shown an ability to adapt and grow in his coaching and the results are good for USF football.

Great to see good things happen for USF football team, students and all my fellow alumni/fans.

+1    Willie has done it, and he deserves credit from true fans.

As long as he wins the football games on the schedule, I have no ammo to criticize. Different now than after Maryland / Memphis games.

I'm not sure who's impressed me more this year, CWT or QF.
