It's not just that he didn't beat out Hundley as much as it is he never made an impact in scrimmages or spring games while he was there. Other than the elite 11 the kid has never shown game type situation ability to justify what some are projecting. He's always been a kid with immense physical ability but his production has never lived up to that ability when it's 11 on 11 and the pads are on.

So your belief is that AW didn't do anything because you didn't hear about his performance in the UCLA Spring game as a freshman behind the best QB in school history and QF couldn't put any distance between himself and Bench in ours but that's making an impact? Tough crowd.

Clearly AW's problem is decision-making.

If AW is going to choose to go play at the same school as Brett Hundley, how can he be trusted to make accurate and reliable throws to receivers?

Has to be the reason Jim Mora never played him.

Yup, but there were reports in the spring and fall of Flowers flashing in scrimmages while battling with Bench. From what I gathered visiting the UCLA boards and PMing users and researching online Woulard rarely flashed when the semi live bullets flyed at practice and he had trouble grasping the offense to the point it made him a non factor while he was there in spite of his obviously physical gifts. Woulard has all the athletic ability in the world but has yet to show he can get it done in 11 on 11 situations with pads on. Let's just let the kid come in here work hard and compete and see what happens. There's zero justification to even be talking about him as a starter considering how Q has played and his history as a player. Q is our starter until he isn't
