I mean, hey- I don't know if Willie is just staying out of the way, or finally coming to grips that his semi-pro style offense wasn't going to cut it, but they actually are pretty interesting to watch on both sides of the ball now.

Flowers has come a long way too- he's now like a poor man's Grothe, can make some big plays with his arm and legs, still has a lot of trouble just setting up and throwing, especially intermediate, but at the same time, unless Woulard is just dynamic in practices/ next season, I'd be hard pressed to take that job away from QF at this point.

Now let's see if they don't suffer a letdown next week, because they should be favored the rest of the way. For once I was not surprised at all that they won this game tonight, and had I been in town, might have actually tried to purchase a couple cheepie tickets and likely just sat wherever, as there were still plenty of seats

Flowers is on pace to surpass Grothe statistically in season numbers, and is having one of the best seasons ever as a USF qb.

I'd say he is far more then a 'poor man's Grothe'. He's showing his moxie and is simply not turning the back over as both Grothe and Daniels did routinely.

Flowers is a solid leader out there, I can't even hate on those overthrown passes because he just pats his chest and goes out and makes up for it.

Feels so good-weird being a Bulls fan in November, watching the team improve and find ways to win. It's hard to throw off those old feelings...even with a 14-pt lead, I was like "oh please, oh please don't lose now." Then we scored again and I'm like, "oh! cool..."

I don't think there is going to be a QB battle next year.  Flowers has established himself as the starter.

Yeah he is playing way better now. There will still be a competition because there always is.

By the way, my favorite moment was where he faked a pass mid run and ran right around a guy.

Yeah I wouldn't say poor mans so far. He has the same crazy pocket maneuvers and makes big plays. Smaller sample size of course...

Flowers is entering the program at a different stage than Grothe did, and it is just beginning to rebound.  Flowers entered with no interest, little hope and few if any proven players.

This is the best thing as both Grothe and Daniels gave ball on turnovers way to much.

Flowers is the real deal never seen a qb here develop as much over a season.

If we were a stock I would load up big time.

The crowd was electric from the very start.  Students were amazing.  I was drunk and happy.  Great game.

Most fun I've had at Ray Jay since....well I can't remember it's been so long.

Lots of energy out there last night.  These coaches and this team have made me a bulliever.

Go Bulls!!!

Is it Friday yet?
