It is a shame when they leave so many seats open with views of the 50 yd. line. If they are buying season tickets and not showing up they should give them away. Just my feelings on this. Actual numbers were around 18k last night, which was disappointing. That said, winning our last two games will give Harlan and the athletics department a lot to sell. I know a lot of former season ticketholders are disappointed with the new arrangement, but perhaps they can find a way to get them in. We're not in the Big East anymore. 30k will be a great turnout.No. It sucks. Memphis and Temple are averaging 50K, ECU and Cincy over 40K. Granted those are announced and they probably fluff numbers some, but it's still more than we have. We should be at top of AAC in attendance. A few years ago we had 63,000 for a Cincinnati game. Will probably be a slow increase in attendance. A lot of people probably still don't trust Taggart. Still have 20+ games of bad taste in their mouth. He'll earn the support back though. He's figured it out.

Maybe a little bigger. Tampa Bay Area casual fans like undefeated teams, and we have 4 losses.

Guest
So the announced crowd last night was 28k ... but the actual crowd was only 18k...I would not expect a larger crowd next week.

There's 8 or 9 Hillsborough county teams remaining and I think 14 or 15 teams total still playing in the Tampa Bay area. I've no doubt there will be a good turnout, but it's a shame this game isn't on Saturday.High school football should NEVER be a reason why our fans don't show up. Not stirring the pot or hating, but anyone who uses that excuse other than a parent of a player playing in a high school game is weak. Also glad the game is on Friday, (Makes us one of the few games on National TV at that time , night, unlike Sat when its a full slate of games). Slow and steady progress is still progress. We'll definitely see an uptick in season tickets for next year.

Hope we pull off a long awaited home victory against Cincy this Friday.
