Shots fired:

South Florida is good, but it would seem in many areas their strengths are more than negated on the other side of the ball by Temple’s strengths. If Temple can stop Prosise, they can certainly stop Mack and force the Bulls to throw the ball, where they will have to face a defensive pass rush that sacked Penn State quarterback Christian Hackenberg 10 times.

You're aware that Penn State is 122th in the country in sacks allowed right? Even if you throw out the Temple game, they're allowing 2.5 sacks per game, which puts them around 90th.

We're not brilliant, but at least we're ranked 53rd. with 1.78 sacks per game.

Mike Gibson is pretty much the worst (creepy too). Here's some local (Philadelphia) game coverage from a credible new source:

Temple homer, but I can hardly disagree with it being in their favor. No way I think it's the overmatched-in-all-respects situation quoted, but they have a very good team. Saying Mack isn't in the same league as Prosise is good fodder for Marlon. I don't see them holding him (or Quinton) to 46 yards on the game. Can't wait.

Temple has 25 sacks on the year. We have 24.

I have to call ******** on this. If we look as bad psu did something is seriously wrong.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”
