2-12 from 3 is god awful. Almost makes me miss Musa Abdul-Aleem. This is where this team is going to miss Holston. Anyone know when he is set to come back?

He was in sweats and actually out goofing around during warm ups but I read somewhere that his return this year isn't a done deal ...

My hope is that we played down to the competition last night. For the majority of the game we were outworked and outhustled by a less talented team ...

Unacceptable in any sport.

I thought we started off very, very slow. Seemed to pick up only after we were down by 10 in the first half.

Definitely picked it up, going on a 36-12 run to finish out the half .... but then slacked off, playing them even in the 2nd half. Way too many second chance baskets for Eckerd, which is where the out hustling was really noticeable.

Most impressive stat for me was Cousins going 6-6 from the line. He was under 50% last year and if last night wasn't an aberration, that could be key this year.

Man you're talking about an exhibition game(in my Iverson voice)?

They won.

That would mean 4-5 years before the postseason (NCAA/NIT). That really shouldn't be acceptable ...

This is USF basketball we are talking about...i agree with you though.  One ncaa bid in 20+ years means the standards are pretty low for what a coach has to do to keep his job in Tampa...
