OCS won't help attemdamce, it might actually hurt attendance.

If it was similar to the BHNFP, I can almost guarantee you it would have hurt it in 2013 and 20114 ...

Yeah and UCF almost had people die due to not enough water fountains and a stadium that couldn't even stand up to the likes of a Texas HS stadium.

Like others have said before, do it and do it right the first time.

I mean come on, now they had to add a beach area inside the stadium?!?!?!? Let's build castles in the sand and watch some football this weekend.

Maybe we should follow J'Ville and put a outdoor pool in our OCS. :facepalm:

I'd hope we'd be smart enough to properly design a stadium, including proper facilities.  And, I'm not clamoring for their stadiums...but I would like to see us at least raising funds.  When I graduated in 1990, there was little talk about a football program.  Once it started, it slowly took off.

Did you see the thread about 300 people in FIU's stadium?  How's that working out?

Look at their terrible schedule and the teams they play!!!!!

Who would want to go to those games.

I put much of that on the AD for the games they scheduled and the conference they play in.

So, you think it would hurt our attendance when we play the likes of FSU, Miami, Wisconsin, Maryland, UCiF, and other schools like that?!?!?!

OOC games play a big part in attendance and a bump in attendance could be possible but its the product on the field that's going to be the issue of sustaining the attendance levels.

Have you ever seen more AD or Athletic Dept inspired hype than you see today?

Deadass Dougie had no clue. 

These days they're marketing the program similar to a California political campaign.  Building the narrative  

We're good in the hype department. 

We need to match the hype with performance.
