Will 6-6 really be enough for a bowl?

With the AAC having 4 teams in the top 25, and having 5 bowls that the AAC can go to, not counting the conference winner, will a 6-6 record really get us into a bowl game with the number of possible eligable teams in our conference?  Any thoughts or comments on this?

Yes, easy. There are 7 bowls for the conference and it actually looks like 8 as the conference will probably get the access bowl slot. Last, four of the bowls are in Florida and most want a team close by and one that will travel. We win 6, we will be a bowl.

New England Bull, not familiar with all the bowls.  I looked up the 2015 AAC Bowls & found 6 listed. Also not familiar with the access bowl slot.  Feel free to explain where I am going wrong & what the access bowl slot is.  Thanks

I see 6 getting us in, and if 6-6, likely the St. Pete Bomb Shelter Bowl, which I likely skip.  But if Boca or Miami, I'm likely there if I'm in state.

P.S.  yeah, I hated the bowl game v Memphis in St. Pete, but after 5 years, I'd still likely go...as it's been too long since Clemson.

AAC bowls this year (potentially 8 total).

Peach or Fiesta Bowl (New Year's Six bowl AAC is expected to get)

Birmingham vs. SEC

Military vs. ACC

Hawaii vs. MWC or BYU

St Pete vs. CUSA

Miami Beach vs. CUSA

Boca Raton Bowl vs. MAC

Cure Bowl vs. Sun Belt

Any 6-6 AAC team is going bowling.  Period.  We most likely will not fill all of our slots.  It's looking like we may have 7 bowl eligible teams, leaving at least 1 unfilled.
