isn't umess d1, technically?

The UMass Minutemen football team is a collegiate football team representing the University of Massachusetts in the NCAADivision I Football Bowl Subdivision and the Mid-American Conference (MAC). UMass began play in 1879.

from their wiki

You are correct, they are ranked 120... bringing the new average to...86.5 for the FBS opponents faced.

If Leavitt were here, this would be a guaranteed win.  Let's see how Taggart fares and if he can get them to play with their hair on fire.

Not sure if you're serious. I'm appreciative for the Jim's contribution to USF football, but we'd face plant, more often than not, in conference play under the Jim, particularly against pro-style offenses. Rutgers and UConn would give our Bulls fits.

Yeah, have to go along with that .... however, if it was an OOC game against a ranked P5 I'd go with The Jim.

Line is now mostly 2.5.

Looking forward to a tough close game.

Hopefully, we will come out on top and punch our bowl ticket and won't have to sweat it out any longer.

But then we'll be sweating out a possible run to the championship!! I wouldn't mind that as much though

Considering how poorly we started the season, anything beyond making a bowl game this year is icing on the cake.

Temple will beat that spread easy. They'll force USF to throw to win, and we haven't been able to do that consistently yet.

Don't care what the line says. This is our third opportunity to slay a to 25 opponent, and I hope our boys will capitalize! This team is picking up steam and I hope they go full tilt, balls to the wall and leave all out on the field! Go Bulls! :GoBulls:

You're assuming they score easily on our defense.
