The conference is still too susceptible to having coaches poached. If the money doesn't somehow start rolling in to help support stability, we will still be on the outside looking in. This year is a pleasant anomaly.

If the original plan had stuck together, this conference would have a strong argument for P6.  Imagine Boise and San Diego St in the west right now with Houston and Navy, and with Memphis back in the east battling Temple.

The AAC is a very solid conference.

It takes time to build your brand.

I watch a lot of other AAC games and the "butts in seats" camera pans are pretty pathetic across the board.  The OOC scheduling is the only hope to get the numbers up.

That is true. Many of the teams are located near big metropolitan areas where there are more things to do. Also, many of the teams have young alumni with not a lot of past successes.

I'd love to see some great attendance for Temple. ECU has always had really decent attendance, but during that rain last nite, I was very impressed. We start winning, maybe those 2007 USF attendance numbers can return.

Was really impressed with their turn out last night also. Especially with the rain and a losing record.
