Why did he leave the SEC for USF?

He was a position coach taking a step up the ladder to DC.

We gave up yards but held them in check points matter not yards.

Right.. but remember that Tulane kept them down to only 291 TOTAL yards (158 passing, 133 rushing). I'd say there was some room for improvement from our defense last week. I didn't see much talk about it though. I seem to only hear Tom Allen's praises after wins. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of the guy.. but he's not THE REASON USF is winning games. Takes Offense, Defense, and Special Teams to win football games.

By the way, the last couple of sentences are meant for the general topic.. not really meant to be directed at you BrowardBull

I LOVE what Allen is doing with the defense but this is CWT's team and these are his wins and losses. It takes everyone, but he's in charge of this program.
