Dropped passes, QF running out of bounds on 4th down, Price stopping and dancing instead of running over the db, STUPID penalties, fumbles, etc, etc.

Because the players didn't execute the plays.

So when you are leading a group of people and the team does not reach their goal, is your plan to blame the people working under your leadership?

Poor Game plan on both sides of the ball that's why they couldnt overcome some of the player mistakes. this game was there for the taking.

431 yards rushing is shameful with the talent they have. did this coaching staff not see the film from the Navy Tulane game last week? Even the announcers recognized it and referred to it repeatedly.

I get that CWT wants to be a running team but  I am flabbergasted that he would continue to make it difficult for his run game  by not throwing more play action on first down.

QF threw  the ball exceptionally well today and is getting better every Week. IMO this offence will explode when they make defenses respect the pass on first down.

All in all it was a great physical effort and  the team played very hard but that is of little consequence when you lose.

Wasn't that a third down play?

Maybe, still cost us the ball.

This tired mantra is just that ....... tired. Coaches "blame" players when they're not performing, right along with blaming themselves.

Gave up 431 yds rushing yet had the lead going into the 4th qtr and it took 2 careless plays late to secure the win for Navy ...... The defensive coaching staff's job is to keep the other team from scoring and I'd say we did a good job, especially considering the yardage given up .... and Tulane lost, too, giving up more points than us.

Yep, bend don't break defense really pays off, in the end yards don't matter it's the score that matters.

You are correct.  22 losses and Taggart took the blame...once.
