I think he is just bad at play calling.  Sure he opened up a little in our wins, but there were some questionable play calls that reminded me of our early season struggles.

I thought for sure we would crush them with Flowers throwing great balls and receivers wide open, but when that tasty conservative FG attempt was there mmmmm

All I know is that several times in my mind I thought he is playing for field goals.

I actually find Taggart and his staff to be pretty good at game planning. His weakness is not being able to adjust after adjustments are made against him.

We always seem to start out pretty good until the opponents adjust.

Really?

FAMU 16-0 at half, 51-3 final

Syracuse 10-3 at half, 45-24 final

Uconn 7-3 at half, 28-20 final

We adjusted during the game, we took away the full back, they went with the QB or HB.  Their offense was simply better than our defense.

+1, we're adjusting more this year than the previous i-don't-know-how-many years...combined! (for effect)

Taggart had a solid gameplan but he may want to rethink his trust in his new crop of receivers.  Need more evan wilson or anyone with sure hands.

Lack of player execution/discipline did us in against Navy, not the game plan.

+1

I would say there definitely was some conservatism on CWT's part, but I can understand why he did it.  I just think the crucial stuff (missed FGs, fumble on kick return, Ward's unsportsmanlike conduct, McCants easy dropped 3rd down in the red zone) is why we lost this particular game.  I think defensively, we could have sold out to the run a little more.  Either way, find a way @ECU.
