He didn't seem like himself and they were stuffing our runs all day. Passing was usually wide open though and on point throws from Flowers. I didn't see the whole game, but what I did see seemed like once the run game sputtered we were playing for the big play. We got a bit lucky in first half on a couple of long first downs. Price got a couple of important plays in first half then nothing called his way. A game like this was concerned me about the offense. Once run was shut down and we had to rely on the pass against a better team, I was not convinced we could win. Despite the offense's less than average performance, this was an all around team loss. Special teams cost 12 points. Defense gave up 439 rushing yards. I also believe Navy is just a better all around team with more experience. I do believe we beat ECU. I actually feel better about our bowl chances though.

Missed fgs and IMO too conservative on offense. Against that team, you almost have to go up 2 or 3 scores to force them to throw, because I dont anybody can stop that methodical triple option. Only ND has beaten them in their last 15 games and probably so because of superior talent.

He did not adjust to Navy's defense with more play action passes on first down. the only time I remember him doing it was in the beginning of the second-half and it went for a huge gain. By not doing it he never forced Navy to adjust on defense. It's beyond understanding why he would insist on making it harder For his run game by forcing defenses off the line of scrimmage with play action .QF threw the ball very well. Drops killed him. Also too many critical mistakes.#1. With the score 10 -3 flowers hit his tight end perfectly and he dropped the pass and we missed a field goal #2 In the second half with USF leading 17 to 13 they had the ball and we're driving and QF ran out of bounds 1 yard shot of the first down marker. Navy than drove down the field and got a field goal and took a lot of energy out of the defense #3 USF's FG KICKER IS TERRIBLE#4 you can't fumble the kick return#5 REALLY STUPID PERSONAL FOUL PENILTY #6 how do you give up 431 yards rushing to anyone? By having a POOR game plan. Did they not watch the Tulane tape.dispite all these mistakes they still had a chance to win. The players played very Hard today but they should be held responsible for the mistakes they made. However the coaching did a terrible job with game planning and I believe they need to look in the Mirror also Edited October 31, 2015 by Massbull

Wow!It actually was because even though we gave up all those yards they did awesome in the red zone....score a few more touchdowns we won.
