Which means he wasn't where he needed to be before this year, and still has room for growth.  Which is the point of those that have been critical of CWT.

So, what's your take your take on CWT?

I know what others have to say and all I was stating is that he has grown a lot from last year and as many others have said, you have to have the right people around you and he clearly did not for whatever reason.

How did this turn into a CWT discussion?? aren't there 54503 other threads for that...

Sweet to have Mack, Flowers and DJ all good to go. We will need all our weapons to bring down navy. Go Bulls!

I agree.  Also, I am somewhat worried that they are not 100%.  Especially Mack.  I know how hammy's can linger.

I think it's clear to all of us that he didn't. Maybe he still doesn't, I dunno. But I have read that Breshnahan at least was forced upon him by Woolard, and that he was very unhappy with that move. Don't think that's the case with Allen.

I don't really know how we managed to pry Allen loose from Ole Miss, and whether that was Harlan or CWT or both that got that done.  But that was easily the single biggest move of the offseason.  Whoever pulled that off deserves big props,

Despite how bad we were and the relative stature of the teams, getting a decent DC job after only a couple years position coaching in major college football is a big break that many guys never get, even ones that are more experienced than him. So it was a win-win really. I agree, though, looks to be a great hire so far.

We should give him a raise.

Our players should be firing on all cylinders

Hopefully, CWT is up to the task

1st 4 games, including FAMU, average points scored 24.75

Last 3 games, all wins, average points scored 37.

Season: 30 points per game

2014 was about 17ppg average.

If the changes made since Memphis stay in place we will be bowling this year.

Also for defense excluding Famu game first three games defense gave up...31 points a game.  Last three games we gave up 19 points a game.

Defense appears to be getting better as season plays out.

Last year we gave up 27 points a game so far we are at 22 points a game.

Offense and defense are improved I would be shocked if we don't go bowling.
