QF had a few really good throws, probably more good throws than bad. Almost all of the runs were designed, I do not believe he went through his progressions. It was essentially, drop back, count to 1, and go. Very few of his runs came as a result of coverage. Tice is a great back, but we already knew that. Fullwood was awesome this game at returning, tons of hidden yardage there. Our D is insane, I hope they keep this up the last half of the season. It is no secret that I am not a fan of QF as a QB, but as long as our D can keep this up, his style may continue to work. We looked like a winning football team out there, refreshing! Is that by design? Our FG kicking is weak too.

More importantly about this game and flowers is SMU was selling out to stop the RBs and it worked. Coaches realized this and sent flowers loose. Smu never adjusted schematically to flowers which is why the huge day. There was really need to go through progressions when this is safer and just as.effective. a bad defense for sure. Lastly, I was wrong Flowers showed hes more than capable at throwing. Needs to keep working at it but hes making strides.

Why not play McCants more.

Looks like JTrue already has negative two for the post above. I actually enjoy JTrue's snark, and thanks, Gimili, for posting and editing.

I've seen totally benign posts downvoted that have been downright puzzling. 1

Yes, especially after watching so much soccer. It's brutal.I had some Scottish friends visit me recently, and they commented about the frequency of breaks taking them out of games and lose interest (we were watching the Patriots play... and they were getting bored!! You don't get much more exciting offensively than the Patriots in the NFL).
