IF we could win out it would help Memphis...

I agree that is exactly what I would want, but, in terms of helping Memphis out the most, a Temple win over ND, with their only two losses coming against Memphis (regular season and championship game) would help them the most in the eyes of the CFPC.

The biggest problem for Memphis is that they play Temple in the regular season, so they likely won't get a bump from the AAC Championship game.  It would be nice if we win out and get a re-match against Memphis.

If Memphis beats Houston and Temple (especially if they beat ND), and wins the conference championship, there is no way they should be left out of the college football playoff, especially if Ole Miss wins out. They would have as impressive a resume as the winner of the Big Ten and Big 12.

But they will be "if" that all plays out.

I think Condi Rice would take a big dump on them.

Memphis @ Houston is shaping up to be the conference's premier game this season. Should be a good one, feels like it could go either way.

The gauge for our real-ness starts at Navy, and I'm actually feeling pretty good about our chances. Been a while...

And they have a chance to beat two more.

This is shaping up to be pretty interesting.. Say Memphis wins out, Houston only loses against Memphis, Temple wins against ND and their only losses come to Memphis twice that would give Memphis 4 quality wins, Ole Miss, Temple 2x, and Houston. I'd say that's comparable to most of the title contenders outside of the inflated SEC ranking bs.
