Well the  whole story is that he agreed to reduce his contract duration @ 1.89M plus a possible 750K per anum in bonuses by 2 years, for the 200K clause. At worst, UCF is not paying out a guaranteed 3.78M plus bonuses, for a guaranteed 200K for 4 years.

That seems like a good trade for me, and I am not your dude. Just sayin.

Good trade or not, you are paying him a cool $1mil for him to do absolutely nothing over the next five years.  That, my friend, is called a golden parachute.
