We have landed kids with offers like this before. See: Mike Ford, Ryeshene Bronson, Andre Davis, Aaron Lynch among many others. That said, it is a big pick up assuming he isn't kicked off the team for something stupid.

Ford and Lynch were not recruits, though ...

Bronson and davis were great gets but sorry they didnt have that offer sheet

He's arguably our highest graded recruit ever along with Giddins (non JUCO/transfer). Then you have guys like Bayes, Knox, Flowers, Mitchell, Chandler, Price, Senat, Johnson, etc...

This is definitely an awesome commit, but we have had similarly rated commits with long offer lists. Dvario Montgomery and Sean price come to mind.

Yeah, we seem to always have 1 four or five star guy that we get. It's strange though that some of our best players of all time were walkons or not hardly recruited at all.

I just checked Dvario ratings on Rivals, and they have almost identical rankings. I think this is a more exciting commit because he was a top 15 player a few months ago and still a 4 star on pretty much every website. Besides 24/7, as they dropped him from a 5 star to 3 lol
