Second-year head coach Orlando Antigua gave reporters a promising assessment of his team at USF media day on Thursday with an exhibition game against Eckerd less than three weeks away. “With a year of knowing how we want to play, knowing how we coach, knowing how we want to defend, I think just having that experience is going to help us a ton,” Antigua said. USF had only three players with prior NCAA experience active last season and the Bulls have grown up quite a bit since March. Junior forward Chris Perry, now fully healthy, is back to lead a more seasoned group that includes five players who started at least eight games in 2014-15.
