I'm pretty sure I read that the Library of Congress was putting it on the National Film Registry.

i think you're confusing it with Reign Man ...

Loving this hire. Unlike football, we have the money to keep him a long time. There are plenty of baseball coaches who stuck around at "mid-major" schools and had a ton of success. Not an exact comparison, but look at a school like Cal State Fullerton. No football and tons of baseball success.

Wow. Someone is not a fan of Kingston or amazing movies. 3 down votes in a row.

And they even missed one ... unless someone upvoted your "Oscar snub" one.

Amazing that he convinced his top-5 recruits to stick around for college, despite being drafted to the pro's.

Looking forward to following Bulls Baseball. It is the only reason I buy Bullsvision.

Stupid question but an honest one as a guy who has followed USF Baseball for awhile now. How on earth does this guy bring in a mega recruiting class in one year to a school that has never (as long as I can remember) had one? I mean we aren't talking middle of the road. We are talking Top 10. Don't get me wrong I'm pumped he did but HOW? What did he do that nobody before him could do?

Some people just have that gift.  He's been a good recruiter in the past.  Let's hope most of these kids can play.  We talk about the rating system for recruits in football not being the end all so.....fingers crossed.

Baseball recruiting is a tough balance.  You want to recruit good players, but not so good that they go to the Majors out of HS.

But you also don't want to turn your back on those guys either. Plenty of them go to college when they don't get the $$$ they want. Definitely the toughest sport to recruit when you factor in scholarship restrictions as well.
