The more I consider it, the more impressive the UConn victory looks.  UConn should have beaten Mizzou at Mizzou... they completely shut them down but found a way to lose the game.  Sill no yardage.  BYU barely beat Uconn.  People forget the score was 10-10 until midway through the 4qtr... That late junk touchdown by BYU made the score look better.  But it was at BYU.  We went into UConn on their homecoming and beat them.  My point is... it's easy to overlook our performance based on the record of the team.   UConn isn't that bad of a team.  We did something only one other team (Navy) has done to them... run the ball effectively and consistently in the second half.  That's cool.

I agree Uconn isn't like Uconn of old.

If not for missed second fg we score 31 points.

Maybe he did, too, but Mack definitely pulled up and grabbed the back of his thigh ...

On TV it seemed like he rolled the ankle on one of the final plays but it was actually his thigh. which specific muscle or the severity of the injury as far as I know are still unknown. But it was definitely Mack.

Adams was playing through pain the whole game and that is a separate injury

We need Mack 100% if we are going to do what we want to do.

Maybe even 7 more if we don't take a knee at the end, too.

Seems I read where Mack said it was just a cramp. I know I've had cramps in my calves that even tho the cramp is gone it still feels like a pulled muscle for a day or two. Of course that could just be old age...

Nah, same here but I could still play on it even though it was sore. Still maintain it's wise to sit him for a couple of practices.

I guess if you want to be a douche.

I might be inclined to sit Mack for this game.  We have three very capable backs and could probably be able to rest him.

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
