Sad thing was Daniels would showboat while losing.  Holtz was in love with him the same way Willie is in love with Flowers.  Their (Holtz and Taggart) lack of recruiting a winning qb who can throw the ball vertically down the field will be the death of USF football.  Sad but true.

True, and that's why you won't see him name in meaningful comps.  BJ was the last successful QB we had.  We had QB controversies here before (recall when many were saying Evan Lande should start?).  All that, I was at the game, and QF looked much better.  Still a lot of room for improvement, but yesterday was a huge step up.  Hope it carries over to UConn and beyond.
