Do any of you work at the university, or have a financial background, that might know why they haven't accepted VISA cards since 2013? Here's the explanation:

 

 

Q6: Why can’t I pay with my VISA credit card?

A: USF is precluding VISA as a payment option for tuition and fees because our payment system does not currently comply with VISA requirements for percentage-based fees.

USF, along with lots of other universities, were losing money due to finance charges the major credit card companies charge per transaction.

My son spent a year at FGCU and they took AMEX. It was great!
