Not trying to spar, but technically, they didn't find him innocent.  They found him not guilty, which isn't the same (though, of course, he could be both).

 

It's a little odd, from what I read, that it seems none of the guys struck her, but Travis Rudolf said one of the girls hit him.  Yet somehow she has a busted lip.

 

I do believe, again from what I've read & the 911 tape, that ample reasonable doubt existed to preclude the jury from convicting him.
