USF Men's Basketball

The basketball season is just around the corner as we welcome new coach Brian Gregory (I know that exhibition season has started). Here are some questions about USF Men's basketball.

Bradley broke in gradually in the 1981-82 season, starting 16 times and averaging a modest five points per game.  He was a tall and slender left handed shooter.  He was mind numbingly athletic; able to do remarkable things with such ease that all during his career there would be those that saw, but didn't understand.  He made it look easy, but he worked hard.

Bradley's world changed in his sophomore season.  Many veterans were gone, and it was clear that the offense would revolve around him.  There was no question why; Bradley put up numbers that year that no Bull has even approached since.  In 32 games, he scored 901 points.  For perspective, the second most points scored in a season by a Bull is 705.  He led the nation in scoring for 11 weeks, and his 28.2 points per game average is still unchallenged in the USF record books.  The Bulls won 22 games that year, and Bradley got his first chance at the postseason, scoring 34 points in an NIT game against Fordham on March 15, 1983. ...

... He averaged 22.3 points per game as a junior and 21.7 as a senior.  It became a rarity in that time when opponents didn't use a box and one or triangle and two against him.  After the astounding sophomore season, Bradley lived in a small world.  Even with no internet or twitter, and with ESPN still in their formative years, the college basketball world knew Charlie Bradley and they were determined to do everything possible to stop him.

Thanks for the quiz @Buller64!!

I should have done better than I did, but at least I could participate since it was not created by me.  Thanks again!

Good job on the questions.
