At least it’s not a somewhat close game where the team behind fouls over and over again. I always hated that and think if you foul on purpose you should also get a 10 second run off.
I won tickets for the opening game and sat in Brad’s seats with my son. There is only 1 step up from the floor level, but it’s a larger than normal step. Assuming they have an elevator you’d just have to deal with that step.
We played well. It was frustrating how close we were for a lot of 3 pointers. We need a center like they have…a tall wide body to post up under the hoop. We have to rely on 3s and 10 ft jumpers. Need to get the ball into the paint for easier shots/layups. The lack of points in the paint is the reason we lost. They killed us in the paint. Overall we had a blast at the game.
One of my friends (usf alumni) went with her son and his class today. She said they had a great time and the kids were all talking about USF and how much fun they had. We need to do more things like this to get kids on campus. I’m sure the USF players also enjoyed having a full house. Seems like a huge win for USF.
