    Burning the redshirt on Eveld when we are 3-6..not to happy about that. Apparently Floyd is pretty terrible.

    No matter how you frame it Trip, we looked like dog poo against our biggest rival (whether some want to acknowledge that or not), on opening night of the new sundome. It's an ugly loss, and people have the right to be upset. Doesn't make them clueless.

    My sister went to Tennessee during his last few years there, and following there football team during that time, he looked like he was done. Obviously the sec is on a different level but it seems just as risky to go for a retired coach that was run out of town as it does to go for a younger coach or assistant. we need a young coach with some fire IMO.

    We were on the week 6 ESPN bottom 10 watch list at 2-4 after losing to Temple. However, we have yet to make a return appearance despite back to back (to back to back to back to back) losses. However, a bad loss at home to a solidly awful Connecticut team might get us back in the running. Wait .... with all the whining, ********, teeth gnashing over being the laughing stock of college football and we've only made the waiting list, and just once, of the Bottom 10 of ESPN, the pulse of college football?? Syracuse fans are mocking us. If that doesn't tell you where this program is right now, I don't know what will. How long are you willing to put up with Holtz? Things are going to get worse, much worse, before they get better.

    I loved the Holtz hire, but it's just not working. He is a terrible coach. There is some sort of clock or game management issue EVERY ******* WEEK. Leavitt led us to some disappointing seasons but I don't think he ever went 1-10 in the Big East. I'll take 7-5 and the Beef o'Bradys bowl over this any day. I wasn't expecting us to run away with a conference championship this season, but we should at least be in the running.

    BJ is PART of the problem, why can't you admit that? Because the coaches decided to make him something he wasn't BJ is Clearly not the issue here DUDE We saw one real QB tonight, and he wasn't wearing green and gold. He had 3 TD passes, one more than the "real" QB. He also led us to the lead with 3 minutes left. He has some bad games, but for the most part he has been the best player out there this season.

    Are you kidding me? We are 2-5. The defense blew another lead. More stupid coaching mistakes. Holtz is a terrible coach and Cosh is the worst hire imaginable.

    If they did that, and didn't get it, people would be asking why we didn't try to pound it in. We had 4 chances, couldn't do it. USF doesn't deserve to win this game.

    No matter how you put it, BJ Daniels has put us in position to win in two of our losses this year (Temple and Ball State) only to have the defense crumble. This goes back to last year as well against Cincy and Rutgers off the top of my head, where He lead us to a win only for it to fall apart. BJ Daniels isn't a great quarterback, but he is not the problem. If we had even a decent defense and if we could keep our special teams blunders under control, our record in the last two years would be much different.

    I think USF loses in the 4th, and Skippy talks about how we "fought hard" and "competed" against a top big east team.

    Let me state again the BJ isn't the problem. All I'm saying is, if we have 7 losses (which is likely) why not get Floyd some experience? We are not going to keep Woulard. At that point, play for next year, the season is lost.

    I agree Bj gives us a chance to win, but once we aren't bowl eligible, does it matter?

    Bj played well today, and has played good enough to win all year. However we are 2-4 and I don't think anyone sees this season being saved. We need to get Floyd some experience at some point this year because woulard is going to bail on this trainwreck. I'm not saying we will be better with Floyd, we will probably be much worse, but we need to start looking towards who we will have on the team next year.

    Not a chance in hell usf wins this game. Don't get your hopes up. Our defense is going to give up 40 before halftime. I'd love to be wrong.

    Pitt will own us, and they are not good. Even with their miracle against vt.

    A loss is very possible. I think we win by 3. Our offense is inept and they will score on us.

    B.J has always been inconsistent. I wouldn't be surprised if he throws for 3 touchdowns against FSU and then 3 ints against Temple. You never know which B.J Daniels you will get. He is what He is, we won't contend for a Big East championship until we have consistent play at the QB position. Hopefully Woulard sticks with us. However, B.J didn't play as bad as the numbers suggest against Rutgers. There were some drops, tipped balls that lead to interceptions, and one interception that CLEARLY hit the ground. He played okay considering our complete lack of a running game and Rutgers solid defense. At least we are throwing the deep ball this year.

    This. We aren't going to go undefeated and we weren't going to win any national titles. We need to win the Big East and thursday was a terrible start.

    Just win. Which is not a guarantee after the way we played thursday.
